SLR Photography. It stands for Sheldon Lane Rogers Photography. Conveniently enough it also stands for Single Lens Reflex Photography. However, this photo-blog is dedicated to the former as a way for me to showcase my own photography. If it's not a re-blog, it's most likely from me. If it's not from me, it WILL BE credited. I’ve known Zandi Watts for close to forever. After several years of going to the same Summer camp, we sort of got disconnected when I went off to college. Coincidentally, she ended up attending the same school and we were happily reunited. Last weekend, I visited my alma mater, where she still studies, and decided that a wet, dismal, 40 degree Saturday would be the perfect time to snap some photos. The following are just a few of the results. Enjoy.

This next one is probably my favorite of the bunch.

Zandi, this red door looks really good on you.

My favorite part of the weekend in September and October was the Union Square Farmer’s Market. Here’s a little taste of what I saw every Saturday.
THE PRODUCE

For some reason, I liked the way this corn looked next to these peppers.

THE PEOPLE
These next two photos are a little too busy for my liking, but I couldn’t let the dancing homeless man end up on the cutting room floor.

I don’t know if she was his sister, or his mom, or his babysitter…but they were adorable together.

THE…OTHER THINGS
This yarn. Photos don’t even do it justice.

There was some sort of vendor’s fair going on one weekend. Lots of cheap knock-offs that would probably break before you got home. But they were nice to look at.

I went strolling from 43rd Street to Union Square one afternoon in September. These are some of the things I found along the way.

Bryant Park is my new favorite place. At least when the weather is a great as it was on this particular day.

My favorite building in the world.

Robert Ryan and Jamie Lewis.
These two.
Matt and Tash. Christmas 2010.
I have a history for lagging behind on uploading photos to my computer. As a result, you’ll probably see lots of photos from holidays that came and went several months ago.
This is one of those photos.
This my nephew, Aiden. He turned 2 last week.
